Balustrade Cavalcade | Nov 29 – Dec 28
“Balustrade Cavalcade,” opening November 29, will showcase a series of new reduction linocut prints by Alex Allardyce. The works are inspired by Victorian “gingerbread” fretwork balustrades, a disappearing trait of older Bermuda buildings.
Alex is an artist, architect, and published author of the award winning book “The Village that Changed the World.”
Now living in Bermuda, he finds inspiration through the colours and forms of buildings, and Bermuda’s particular light, which is also reflected in the subject matter of this exhibition.
“Balustrade Cavalcade” will be available to view from November 29 – December 28.
