In collaboration with the Loren Hotel, a curated display of works by Christina Hutchings will be available to view from Sunday, October 4 to Sunday, November 1. There will be a reception at the Loren from 12 – 2pm on Sunday, October 4.

Artist Bio:
Christina Hutchings is a Bermudian. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, a residency at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and a Master of Architecture degree. After graduate school, she moved to New York City and worked in architecture for twenty-three years. The most notable firms were Peter Marino Architects and Skidmore Owings & Merrill. While working, Christina maintained her art practice. She received fellowships from: MacDowell, Edward Albee Foundation and Virginia Center for Visual Arts. In 2008, she returned to Bermuda to concentrate on her art practice. Since returning to Bermuda, she has been included in selected group exhibitions and had her first solo show at Masterworks in 2010 in The Rick Faries Gallery.
