Currently on view in the Rick Faries Gallery is “New Acquisitions,” an exhibition of recently acquired works by local artists from the Masterworks Permanent Collection. Featured artists include Jon Legere, Abi Box, Nhuri Bashir, Christina Hutchings, Jordan Carey, Alice Coutet, and 2023 Charman Collection Prize winner Phoebe Hughes.
The exhibition features a number of acquisitions paired with new pieces and works in progress by the same artists, evoking continued motifs as well as new paths in their artistic practices.
New Acquisitions will open in the Rick Faries Gallery with an opening reception on Thursday, September 5 from 5:30 – 7pm. The exhibition will be available to view until Tuesday, October 1.

The Butterfield and Mezzanine Galleries will be closed for installation from September 9 – 28. The entry fee to the Museum will be waived until our next major exhibition opens on September 28, 2024.
