From March 17th, the exhibition, “Re-Telling Our Stories,” a joint project between Solstice and the Museum, will invite individuals of all ages and backgrounds to engage in a creative exercise that reflects the various aspects of personal and community identity. We will be transforming the walls of the Butterfield Gallery into a giant blank canvas, to which you are invited to paint, write, and draw your stories and experiences.

In conjunction with the exhibition, the Solstice team will be leading Narrative Therapy “Tree of Life” workshops that help people and communities to re-tell their life stories in ways that make them stronger. ‘The Tree of Life” workshops will take place on the following dates at Masterworks:

Wed. March 22, 6-8 pm
Sat. March 25, 10-12 pm
Sat. April 8, 2-4 pm
Thur. April 13, 5:30-7:30 pm

We also encourage you to explore your individual creative liberty outside of the workshops by visiting the Museum at any point during the exhibition and engaging in this participatory project. Everything you need will be provided and all ages are welcome!

You will be able to participate in or view the exhibition until Saturday, April 15th.

The Masterworks Museum is open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm, and admission to the Museum will be by FREE for the duration of this project. In addition, (a rare opportunity alert!!) we are offering a FREE family-level membership to all first-time members who visit during this exhibition.
