Reflect, Reengage, and Recreate!
This June, we will have a special exhibition in the Rick Faries Gallery through the joint effort of Black Lives Matter Bermuda (BLM) and the Peaceful Art Protest. The Peaceful Art Protest was created to support the work of BLM Bermuda, as a way for artists and creatives to illustrate their support of BLM and the march for Black lives that took place last year.
This year, the two organizations are joining forces to “reflect, reengage and recreate.” One year on, we’re asking artists, students, and members of the public to join us once again to continue the conversations that BLM Bermuda has and continues to highlight.
Artwork Submissions will be accepted TODAY, through May 14th, 2021. The show will open May 28th, with a special opening on the anniversary of the march, June 7th, 2021.
