Needle felting is the art of using specially designed, barbed needles to sculpt coloured wool into shapes and designs. This workshop will introduce you to basic techniques, shapes, and felting supplies.

Make a handmade gift for someone special or learn something new with your family.

What you can expect:

  • Hands-on, step by step instruction by a friendly instructor
  • All materials provided, including felt wool, needles and more
  • Small class size for personalized attention and safety
  • Walk away with your very own felt creation

Time:10am-1pm

Facilitator: Neil Thomson
Neil is an avid felter with a passion for felting small animals and decorations.

Class Size: Maximum of 8 participants to ensure individualized attention and a supportive environment.

Age group: All ages welcome; Participants under 16 should be accompanied by an adult

Skill level: Beginner

Location: Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, Art Classtoom

Workshop Fee: $75 Members/$125 Non-members; practising artist rate application here; under 18 bursary application here.

Materials provided: All supplies provided.
