This workshop is designed to offer you a unique blend of mindfulness and artistic expression through the lens of photography. Join Artist and facilitator ABWilson and find a fresh perspective on the world around you! You’ll be encouraged to slow down, observe, and capture the beauty in everyday moments.
You will learn techniques to quiet the mind, develop visual perception, and translate a newfound awareness into intentional photographs. Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect from the workshop:
- Present moment awareness: learn calming techniques to quiet the mind and heighten visual perception;
- Seeing with fresh eyes: discover the art of observation, identifying captivating details often overlooked;
- Mindful composition: translate newfound awareness into intentional photographs capturing the essence of the subject; and
- Sharing and discussion: gain valuable insights and connect with fellow participants as you share unique perspectives.
No prior photography experience is necessary. This workshop is designed to be accessible and engaging for individuals of all skill levels.

Aderonke Bademosi Wilson is the founder and principal consultant of ABWilson Consulting, with extensive expertise in change management facilitation, strategic corporate and internal communications, and project management.
A seasoned, professional photographer, and creator of ABWilson Photography, Aderonke has combined her experiences and passions and designed mindful photography workshops. She invites participants to embark on a journey of discovery, where slowing down, seeing beyond the obvious are key to uncovering beauty in the seemingly ordinary.
She has developed and facilitated workshops tailored to communities and organizations in Bermuda, the United States, Sierra Leone, West Africa and Trinidad and Tobago.
