In conjunction with The Living Loom installation opening on Saturday, March 8, 2025, Masterworks invites you to immerse yourself in the art of natural dyeing with two artists: Jordan Carey and Kimberley Fisher.
You’ll explore the magic of a shared indigo dye vat – a community experience rich in tradition and creativity – and discover the vibrant possibilities of dye baths made from trees, fresh food scraps, and petals. Learn to transform natural materials into unique, sustainable colors and connect with the alchemy of nature in this hands-on workshop.

Location: The Onion Patch, green lawn to the left side of the Masterworks Museum entrance.

Materials provided: Please feel free to bring items from home made of cotton, linen, wool, or silk cloth (cloth napkins, scarves, etc) or learn by dyeing the textiles that will be woven into the large-scale loom over the duration of the installation.
