Dive deeper into the rewarding world of fibre arts through this intermediate knitting class. In this series, we’ll introduce more complex elements of knitting such as :
This class would be best suited to people who mastered the beginners’ class or have previous experience.
Duration: 4-week series, meeting each Tuesday for 2 hours
Dates: Tuesdays: April 22 – May 13, 2025
Time: 6-8pm
Facilitator: Irena Ashton
Irena is an avid knitter with decades of experience working with natural fibers. She was the founder of the Black Purl, a yarn and knitting supply store located in Hamilton Bermuda and she ran knitting classes for children and adults while operating the Black Purl shop.
Class Size: Maximum of 8 participants to ensure individualized attention and a supportive environment.
Age group: Adults and teens aged 16+
Skill level: Intermediate
Location: Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art’s Classroom
Workshop Fee: $200 Members/$250 Non-members; practising artist rate application here; under 18 bursary application here.
