Learn to paint with impressionistic brushwork and develop the skills necessary to translate light into the language of paint. Join international artist, Eli Cedrone for this fun and inspiring class. Through a series of exercises you’ll explore how to see simply and effectively communicate your ideas.

This is an atelier experience for all levels where you will build a solid foundation. Each class is designed to strengthen skills of perception and stress the basics of drawing, value, and color.

Each class will focus on: Drawing and and simplifying shapes; Composition and creating a focal point; Seeing values and mixing colors; How to block-in your painting and finishing details; Developing an individual style

Duration: 4-week series, meeting each Tuesday for 2 hours

Dates: Tuesdays: January 16  – February 6 2024

Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Class Size: Maximum of 10 participants to ensure individualized attention and a supportive environment.

Location: Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art’s Classroom (and surrounding gardens)

Materials: Art supplies provided. Participants are welcome to bring mediums they are practicing to each session.
