What are the 'Museum rules' for events?
All events are subject to the following policies:
-
The safety of artwork and Museum property is our top priority.
-
Each rental request is considered on a case-by-case basis.
-
Approval is granted only to events that align with the renter’s goals, reflect the Museum’s mission and values, and fully meet our safety requirements.
-
A booking is not considered final until it has been approved by the Museum and the required deposit has been received.
-
Important: When events take place in galleries during an exhibition, no decor, signage, staging, or equipment may lean on, hang from, or be affixed to gallery walls.
-
Only white wine and clear beverages may be served in any of the gallery spaces. Anything else – red wine, punch, dark sodas, etc. – is not permitted.
Additional restrictions may apply depending on the exhibition.
Further policies can be found in the Venue Hire Contract.
