This Skill-Share is brought to you by BEHIND THE PALETTE, Masterworks’ initiative to materially support artists with opportunities to learn, connect, and create with other artists.
‘The Pitch’ can be one of the more daunting tasks on your journey as an independent visual storyteller and artist. After weeks, months or even years of putting together a body of work – presenting your completed story involves a blend of persistence, timing, confidence, and belief in your artistic endeavors.
This workshop is for individuals eager to showcase their latest creations, seeking valuable knowledge and coaching to navigate the next steps in the pitching process. Award winning documentary photographer and lecturer, Nicola Muirhead – published with the BBC, the Washington Post, the Smithsonian Magazine and National Geographic, amongst others – will lead the workshop and provide an insightful introduction on how to edit and market your work; helping you draft a succinct and clear pitch to your respective field or industry.
