DESCRIPTION:Join Blair Masters for this 6-week ceramics course where you will learn the fundamentals of clay\, tools\, and techniques of wheel throwing! Ideal for all skill levels looking to start or advance their practice. You’ll have the chance to centre\, throw\, pull walls\, trim\, create surface design\, glaze\, and more. Students will take home a new skillset and up to 3 pieces of pottery! We recommend this course even if you’ve taken similar courses in the past. \nEach week will focus on a specific skill: \n\nWeek 1: Introduction to clay and tools. Students will learn to centre and pull walls on the wheel. Join international artist\, Eli Cedrone for this fun and inspiring class. Through a series of exercises we’ll explore how to see simply and effectively communicate your ideas. This is an atelier experience for all levels where students will build a solid foundation in traditional methods of creating art.
